"Forget the A.I. Apocalypse. Memes Have Already Nuked Our Culture."
Inspired by Willy Staley’s essay for The New York Times, this piece is about the fact that we don’t need killer robots to ruin our culture—we’re already doing it ourselves with 'brain rot' memes. It captures a world happily scrolling its way into a nonsensical end, proving that the real apocalypse isn’t some future AI threat, but a disaster we’re carrying out right now.
